About the European Congress of Families
European Congress of Families is ECR Party’s high-level conference on family policies. The ECR Party recognises the family as a building block of European societies and therefore puts special attention to all political processes, societal factors and public policies that have a strong impact on family life, household budget and the human and civil rights guaranteed to all members of the family. By organising this conference, the ECR Party sends a positive message about the family and future of European societies that embrace new life.

The family is heavily impacted by various societal factors. But it works both ways – the state of the family influences the society as a whole. European Congress of Families looks at the family through lenses of demography, culture, education, economy, security, technology and business.

Thanks to its large congress hall, which can be divided into four smaller ones, it can easily accommodate ECR Party’s 200 delegates for the first European Congress of Families.
